Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified EHS Administrative Assistant for a local client in Aston, PA. Candidates who have a background working with general office equipment and Microsoft Office are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions:

  • Enters data into Microsoft Office Suite software. Proofreads documents for accuracy.

  • Receives and directs visitors and answers and directs departmental phone calls.

  • Prepares required paperwork for regulatory notices and records.

  • May assist with preparation and conduction of hazard assessments.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Assist in the continued maintenance of filing system and retention of records.

  • Create and follow departmental training schedules. Assist in the coordination of training with other departments.

  • Maintain strong partnership interactions with Production, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Accounting, and Engineering leaders.

  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of safety policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Assist in the timely completion of all environmental and safety monitoring, compliance, and reporting activities (i.e. EPA and OSHA) Assist with investigations of any environmental or safety concern, including completion of root cause analysis and corrective action

  • Assist in ensuring all environmental inspections and monitoring are completed appropriately and timely. Assist with the performance of regular periodic safety and health plant audits.

  • Assist in the completion of Initial and Recurring training for all employees and update our LMS with training dates.

  • Assist with the utilization of ClickSafety, internal training videos, and internal SOP’s to train employees.

  • Direct employees to ask their immediate supervisor with any questions that can’t be answered.
