Thompson First Group is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a direct hire role with a local client in Millsboro, DE.
Candidates that have experience managing and direct plant Project Engineers are encouraged to apply.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the plant Project Engineers in the coordination and management of projects from beginning to end and present turnkey final projects.
Train, coach and assist plant Project Engineers in the development and completion of projects. Provide mentorship, guidance and hands-on support to cultivate their professional growth and development.
Advise and direct plant Project Engineers on safety requirements and proper enforcement.
Assist the Sr. Director Processing Operations in the planning of annual capital budgets and communicate project status.
Skills and Certifications
7 – 10 years’ Poultry experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial)
AutoCAD skills.
