Thompson First Group is seeking a Production Worker - Mechanical Assembler for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in Aston, PA.

Candidates that have a background working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce products by assembling parts and subassemblies.

  • Experience and proficiency working with hand and power tools

  • Have a basic understanding of blueprints,

  • Certifications in forklift driving and/or blueprint reading would be pluses.

  • Perform various mechanical assemblies and sub assemblies.

  • Assembly/disassembly of components, inspection, and loading parts.

  • Use general hand tools and power tools

  • Use measuring equipment such as tape measures

  • Following production guidelines and specifications.

  • Ability to interpret schematic plans and/or blueprints.

  • Following health and safety standards.

  • Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.

  • Assembling products and parts.

  • Following production guidelines and specifications.

  • Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.

  • Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.

  • Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products.

  • Working on the production line and meeting production targets.

  • Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.

  • Performing other tasks as assigned.
