Thompson First Group is seeking a Weld Inspector for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in Aston, PA.
Responsibilities:
Welding Inspection: Perform thorough visual inspections of welded components, structures, and systems to assess their quality, workmanship, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
Quality Assurance: Verify that welding procedures and practices comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications, such as American Welding Society (AWS) codes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices during welding operations.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, including visual findings, measurements, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographs, drawings, and other relevant documentation.
